Why some people shouldn't Adopt

Well, I got turned down for the first time at Associated Content. I wrote an article on Why some people shouldn't Adopt and their response was that it was too opinionated for upfront payment. They also said that I could publish it for free if I liked and if it was accepted, I would still get paid for page views. Well after thinking about it for a few days, I decided that even though it was just me ranting, I should still publish it. It got accepted and guess what? It's getting a ton of page views! It's not getting as much as my poem Twas the Night before Christmas Redneck Style but, it's doing really well.
