I know what you are thinking......crazy people.......glutens for punishment. LOL
My husband and I have decided that we want to adopt a little girl. The boys are so excited about it! They are both very good with my grandson who is 2 and enjoy spending time with him. My son's girlfriend has a 5 year old and you should have seen them with him. They are both so patient with kids!
We recently went to visit their sister and her parents foster babies. They were fostering a little girl for the second time. The first time they got her she was only 21 hours old and born cocaine addicted like my sons. I got to hold her when she was only 3 weeks old and just couldn't put her down! She is so adorable! This second time they were fostering her, she was 8 months old and I fell in love with her all over again. I have lots of pictures of her and pray for her every day. I'm sad to say, this little girl has again went back to her crack head Mom. I don't know about other states but, here in Florida, there is a 3 strikes rule and the Mom has to mess up three times before the child is taken away permenantly.
My husband and I have decided to get our homestudy and other paperwork updated just in case the little girl goes back into foster care again. This won't guarantee that we will get HER but, it won't hurt either. It's going to be a long road to get everything done but, we both feel it will be worth it in the long run because even if we don't get this little girl, we can get another one. We just feel that we can help one more child.
Hey, if someone out there is willing to build us a bigger house, we will adopt even more!

hi! You guys are great and congratulations on what you have done. Regards Peter
Hi again,
I say if you have the money, time, patience and love then go for it, sounds like you've done a great job up until now so why not help another if you know you can.
Congratulations and I hope you get the little girl that obviously deserves a better chance than what she's been given so far.
Tony:)
